OFFICE HOURS: Hannah Soboroff Shargal, Eema Studio
Editor's Note: I’ve been following Eema Studio & Hannah for years and absolutely love the kids’ spaces she designs (I definitely was taking notes when designing my little girls' room!). They’ve always stood out to me as unique and beautiful while still being age appropriate and fun! This was such a fun read, I hope you enjoy!

How do you spend your days? I'm a mom of 3 boys, and my days are spent designing beautiful children's spaces! I'm an interior designer...but for kids only! Eema is my design studio :)
What does a typical work day look like for you? I wake about an hour before my kids, have a cup of coffee and get caught up on emails. Once my boys are up, my computer closes and I'm 100% in mom-mode until they're off to school. A typical work day consists of site visits, product sourcing, creating design boards, client calls/meetings and more. 
Where is your office located? We recently converted our garage into a little casita, which is now my work studio. It's a dream! One of my favorite spaces in the house.
Favorite object/accessory in your office? My desk lamp! It's the Casita Lamp by Twenty One Tonnes and it brings joy.
How do you keep track of your to-do list? To-do's are always hand-written in my Postalco notebook. Writing feels intentional and productive -- and what's better than crossing something off a to-do list??
Name one thing that is always on your desk: The mini 'standing still' feet by Anne Ricketts. They were a gift from my mom and I love them. A great reminder to stay grounded and to find time in my day to pause. 
Daily work uniform? I'm usually in a vintage tee or button-down, with a pair of linen simple pants by Donni. My (lack of) commute to the office allows for cozy footwear, so i'm back and forth between my suede Charvet slides and shearling Jenni Kayne slippers.
Must-have item in your work bag? An electronic laser tape measure! So dorky, but so excellent.
Favorite part of your job? Very lucky to love what I do, and to have such fun while doing it. It's creative, stimulating and gratifying.
Favorite afternoon pick me up during a work day? A close tie between getting outdoors for a 45-minute walk, and a bowl of popcorn with a (heavy) handful of unreal milk chocolate gems. Balance!!!
What’s something you do outside of work just for yourself? I love to cook! 
Who are you sending your next card / [love] note to? Tooth fairy reporting for duty! My oldest son lost another tooth. He LIVES for the notes that the tooth fairy leaves :)
